Hey guys and gals, Just wanted to give a quick hello.
Just bought my first evo 8 gsr and i love it!!! So much fun, i previously had 2 lexus soarer twin turbos which were good but a bit lethal in the wet. The evo is a totally new ball game.
Quick question how the hell do i change a side light bulb??? I've got one which has recently gone out!!
I looked at it for a bit, scratched my head and thought....... This is gonna suck!!!

Welcome mate !!

You need to go in through the wheel arch to get to the side light and indicator bulbs. Remove a couple of the plastic fixings and a bolt then peel back the arch liner and get your hand in there. Just twist bulb holder anti clockwise and pull out. Bulb just pulls out the holder. There isn't quite enough cable to pull it right out so you might wanna take the wheel off and peel enough of the liner back to get 2 hands in there. Can be done with the wheel on if you done it before so know what your doing.

By the way Craig, the Soarer is a Toyota and was only badged as a Lexus for the Western Market. It was a cheap scam to get more money out of us!!!

The car needs a good polish but as soon as its done i'll get some pictures up.
