Just a quick intro as I have only joined the site and purchased my first Evo.
I've been a Honda man for 10 years now owning various Type-Rs and I still own a Vti Civic track car. I do all of the work on my Hondas including gearbox rebuilds, fitting close ratio gearsets, timing belts etc and I have built my tack car from scratch. The evo is a completely different car but I've always wanted one so why not
I have already painted the front headlight internals and tided the front end my giving the intercooler a coat of VHT silver and painting the black mesh with black stonechip
I have all of the oils ready to change all fluids transmission and engine as soon as I get a chance
Plans for the car are:
-split and paint rear lights
- carbon or MR rear spoiler
- carbon front splitter
- carbon evolution viii lettering and front Mitsubishi badge (in the post)
- Carbon vortex generator
- carbon skirt extensions
- possibly paint wheels black to complete the look
Then after cosmetic modifications
- full downpipe, decat and 3" milltek
- uprated fuel pump
- k&n open cone (already recieved and fitted thanks to Ross Motorsport)
- remap
Here is now the car sits today
