I cant see why it would really damage it but i wouldnt look at that as a perminant solution.
But equally I dont know what its point at as a problem. Quite a puzzle lol

I have the same sort of problem the code turns out to be 44 which after looking on the net turns out to be the coil pack which affects cylinder 1 and 4, what this means is beyond me but Im taking it to a guy who works down the road he reckons he with his computer pluged in when it happens he will be able to find out what it is.

but any advise would be greatfully recived
