Helix, exedy paddle, O S Giken are some favs but it's all depends on ur car and what it's capable of etc etc, there's some traders on here that can help out.

You need to update where ur from in order for them to point u in the right direction and as to who's near your area :)

i needed a new clutch, so went for e 7/8/9 competition clutch stage 2 , clutch and flywheel ,

my other one was very bad,, i seen it after it came out of the car, the plate was like a paper plate that thin and had marked the flywheel very bad was slipping like a mother fooker lol

Lancer Evo 7 8 9 : Competition Clutch, Uprated clutches and lightweight flywheels

mine now has had 1000miles on it,, without a single problem and no launchs ;)

We can supply loads of different types of clutch kits do you have a make in mind ?

Personally I would be fitting a E7/8/9 flywheel to allow you to fit a 240mm clutch kit as mentioned.

To be fair mate a stock replacement clutch would do you fine if you do not launch the car I can do a genuine Exedy delivered for £290

standard 8/9 clutch can do 400/400 as my mate did in his 9 with no problems.
its a very good upgrade to early cars cos you still have a standard feel to the pedal but can handle more power :):)

Lee is right here

I put an excedy paddle clutch on my car recently it is too harsh for road driving especially in traffic and it puts strain on the rest of transmission.

It is good for launching though!

If it's badly damaged you will probably have to replace it or if it's not too bad you might get away with just skimming it.
