While we are talking about mapping am I gonna need my ecu mapped again now I am putting the stroker and cammed engine in I had it done before with my old two litre and a boost controller fitted it was running 27psi on high boost. This is aimed to my main man el. Not sure what to do or if it will be safe or even work properly with my new engine

It will get you to Indigo.
A remap will be required because you need to bed the engine so the right fuelling and boosting etc will maintain optimum efficiency and keep the engine running safe.
Keep to small local roads for the first 400 miles and don't let the revs get near the actuation point of the turbo.
Once you hit the 400 mark, then get it booked in with Indigo and just get a map only. Drive on A roads there and back. Don't go for a dyno tune until you have tested the engine at say 1200 mark.

If you have an AVC-R then you can set the duty to flat line on a 0%.
You should be OK on the A roads anyway.
The Evo is designed to run at high revs anyway so if you stick to 50 on 60 roads then you will just get the middle finger from irate drivers. Better then the con rod giving you the middle finger LOL!!!
On your current map the engine will be OK for now, just means that it is slightly retarded and will not hit break neck speeds too well.
I am sure you can live with that for a month or two right???

So can the new engine handle any boost. I have a gizmo controller but have no idea how it works it was all set up by indigo. I can go motorway all the way there using less than 10psi u reckon. Is it safe to give it some beans at all or not. I am a little scared. Idont wanna break it

Stay under 3000 revs and you should be all right. Boosting it at this stage will give the engine hell.
If you can and the car is secure then you can fill the tank to the brim and let it run stationary which will help to bed it in a little faster.
Drive around for a couple weeks as advised buddy.

ive loved evos since i can remeber el, i need every mod ya can put on one!!! i used to gamble and get wasted every weekend now i would rather save the money and buy light weight wheel nuts ect ect... its a desize i will call him tommorow

emailed them last night got a reply i wasnt expecting... sorry cant remap standard ecu's am i missing something or this that the hole point???
