Nearly evo 8 time!

been waiting to buy my dads evo 8 260(running 320) for aaaggess now and its looking like i should be able to have it in about 6 weeks time so im starting to think about what to buy for it and where to get these parts? i hear indigo gt is a good place!

after i buy the car and insure it i think im going to have about £1200 left over what do people suggest i do with this money? i want a couple of styling improvements before i go for performance so i was thinking:

MR spoiler (can anyone reccomend which one to get where to get?)
is this one on indigo any good? or is it a bit too cheap? Indigo-GT: Online

Carbon front lip (how much should i pay for one of these?)

black wheels (i know a guy who will do these)

any other reccomendations?

after this im going to save up again for a few weeks and have fuel pump, gizmo boost controller and another remap then maybe ill reach the 380BHP mark???

any help would be appreciated, thanks

Were doing remaps for £200 at the moment, with the 260, you'd be looking are max around 350-360 unless you change the cams assuming you have the following parts:

fuel pump, 3 port solenoid, filter, turbo back 3inch exhaust, decat.

we can supply and fit the fuel pump and 3port for £250 if you want

Yeah lee i cnt wait took it for a lil test drive yesterday after fixin somet on it and its sooo much fun, problem is it feels invincible which is very bad lol

And@fcm, ok im sure 350-360 will be sufficient lol where are you based mate? The car already has decat and apexi cone, i need the last part of the exhaust(from where the cat was) doing in 3" so ill get that sorted asap.

Is it just as good to just have the 3 port valve with no digital boost controller?? Im not bothered about fancy adjustments and what not just want the extra boost pressure.....

we're based in bristol, there are a few differences with using the 3port over a general boost controller
1 a lot cheaper (about £50 compared to about £200)
2 you get rpm based boost control not just a single duty setting across the rpm.
3 if the ecu detects any problems it can reduce the boost giving you a safety blanket
4 can hold the same boost pressure
5 it does take longer to setup though which is its only down side

Yeah kent is pretty damn far from me! I think u read that wrong i do want more boost lol who doesnt!!! I just meant that im not too fussed about all these fancy things that digital boost controllers can do. Will have a think wether to go digital or just the 3 port.
