my trip to nurburgring and spa francorchamps 2013

Well Monday we woke up to clean blue sky, straight out on track for a couple sighting laps, then a couple more and the track was now dry so wheel change time with ad08 tyres fitted. But the came some bad news, one of the new friends we meet at start of the trip his car yellow evo 7 was making a strange noise while idling, we scratched and poked for a few minutes then decided was only one thing for it. Out came the axle stands and trolly jack and the offending split water pump pully was removed, welded up by local onsite mechanic. Refitted the pully and the car was back out on track as was I straight after lunch

All in all we made some really good friends an was never a dull moment.
Track day was perfect for us all day although the same can't be said for several others who unfortunately never got to drive there cars home.

Rubbish it the wet now they are down to 3mm. Had to take them off the car during the winter cos got tired of aqua planing lol

first port of call was meeting up with other members from the south west at stonehenge. there was a female in our group which turned out to be 10 of us, and fair play to her, she joined in with the rest of the group and we all had a proper laugh from start to finish !!

after what we expected it turned out to be a bright sunny day on saturday, perfect for some time on the track but i only did the one. saving myself for trackday on the monday





















only the one pick from saturday night, thats of the raw fillet steak that you cook yourself served on a hot stone







sunday was not that great, 70 miles to drive and not feeling to great and it was damp and drizzly
we arrived and it was still very cold and misserible













monday morning, todays the big day and we awoke to clear blue skys all day and tempatures reached 19degrees..... perfect

it was my second time. went last year with a load of people i already knew but this time i only new a few people going so was unsure what it would be like. but meet up with some great people on the way and certainly staying in contact and will meet again for even more laughs
