My toy build thread... 8 FQ330 Black

Thought Id start a thread on how im getting on with my 8 and a bit of a build thread.

So anyway have had non turbos in the past so thought il get a turbo car but needed something practical with 4 doors, so ended up getting this after seeing a few fake FQ's.

As soon as i got it i got it serviced and started getting parts for it, and the modding bug began.

This is how the car standed once i got it

So the modding bug began...

New clutch (exedy twin plate clutch)
New suspension (race logic)
New lower arm bushes
Allignment
Actuator fixed
Remap
Underseal
Pops and bangs
Handbrake sorted
Exhaust leak fixed

So old clutch and old suspension damage pictures

So all sorted now with new refreshed parts
New suspension

New clutch

New bushes for arms

Since ive had it i have added the following myself

Rear dark tints
Front lights blacked out like the rear


D2 Big brake kit front
Rear new discs
Suspension socks

Feel for you there Craig, had to get tyres over Christmas tax end of the month and that's without anything else the car has had lol..

Don't know mate. All I know is that the plates were changed once and I decided to put a new one in. Like I said it wasn't looked after. But the car is on full mend. Lol

What size are the front brakes and how much were they?

I went for 330mm as i wanted to stick to 17" wheels

They cost me around £1100, as they are the new D2 kits not the old type.
