Thanks for the kind comments, i have to agree, looks and feels more raw than the later models, something ive always liked about the IV-VI.

Very Small Update....been on the cards for sometime, As following pics will show. Seeing Gooner do his lately, i put my thinking cap on. The vent 3 has bolts and nuts holding it into place, one of these nuts had rusted itself to the bolt. After soaking it numberous of times in WD40 i got the nut off, but the bolt had snapped the plastic holding clip.
This is the reason why it needed sorting......

I carbon Fibe wrapped the black insert and tried to wrap the outer bit. But with so many different angles it was impossible to get a professional finish, so ripped it of and painted it gloss black. Finish is good, better than before...altough not want i intented to do. Pics to follow of finished product.

took me ages, its a shame the wrap is so thick and doesnt like bending much. Think i'll leave the car as it is now. looks great the way it is. Thanks for the kind comments.

Update. Todays work... Fix rear foglight that wasn't working. Turnt out a wire/spade had came of the dash switch so i had to put my hand up behind the dash to put it down and back through a small hole for the switch. Then had to find out why i was blowing fuses all the time, fixed and disconected the battery, wasted 3 fuses.

After that i gave up work on the Evo, went inside for a rest and to wipe the sweat off. I got round to fitting the Ralliart Rear strut i had for about half a year.
Was bloody annoying sitting in the boot cutting anf trimming the inner arch trim. Anyway i got there in the end and finished for the day, next on list is to paint the front grilles.

Pics as usual:

Evo VI TME boot Chassis strut:

sitting in the car trying to force the brace over the strut towers and cut down trim to get the ralliart brace in. Not a funnt place to sit mind ;)

And the Brace itself:

Im knackered for the day, off to soak in the bath.....

Some more pics.

Would like to point out the fabric trim has peeled abit on the drivers door.
anyone know how to stick it back down, not going to try sugerglue incase it hardens on the outside if you know what i mean?

Slight wear on the Recaro. Not bad for around 75,000 miles.

Note door shut is clean :)

Headunit and fully working Aircon. etc etc.

Clean Fuel filler flap.

just painted the front grilles.
