My Evo 8 - A work in progress

So today we done the dreaded rear lights ... Much harder than the fronts (although piss easy to remove) anyone thinking of doing there's themselves it is possible just requires a bit of time, patience, heat gun, sharp Stanley blade, some good glue and silicone etc etc. It really isint easy tho, I have broken a bit of the outer case on one of mine so have had to order a new light (just for the outside casing annoyingly) best trick is to really take your time and let the knife do the work! Anyways few pics ....

If you start doing it for others that will be a good shout, you want to grab a set or two nd do them on an exchange basis so your not under pressure to get them completed

That's exactly what I'm Guna do mate, they sell them from that states on eBay but always go for like 300 ish plus 50 postage then if you could have to pay 20%import tax too ! That's far too expensive, I'll see how the next set go if they turn out well I'll get a link up for them on an exchange basis, then everyone can be rid of the hideous Lexus style lights lol

Good lad, yh I hated the chrome look, I got some smoked rear lights for mine in the end.

Unless your names foxylady who loves Lexus lights so much she wouldn't accept if we all chipped in and bought her some decent ones lol

Some lexus style lights sold on ebay last night for 99p & £6.19 postage.... even I couldnt bring myself to up it to £2 lol

They were for Evo 4-6 tho. Theres still some on there around £25 but not all that nice. The ones on the 7s & 8s dont look all that bad tbh

Oh I wouldn't have even paid 99p for those. The early Lexus ones are horrid, at least the 8 ones look smart on a completely standard one
