If you want to be.different keep as they are. But like Billy says most preferred option is to take the lens out.

Good to see an enthusiast that's willing to get his hands dirty and post pics whilst in the process

In regards to adding a Walbro or similar fuel pump and basic enhancements such as Induction Filters etc. I would have to say that they are fine as long as the car is not being thrashed around.

A tweak to the map will make a noticeable difference and allow the modifications to produce the desired results, thus making the modifications more efficient, but it is in no way an immediate worry.

Messing around with the boost, Injectors or complete Exhaust System is when you really want to be in a rush to get it mapped.

Opinions on the subject vary......

Thanks positive comments and it's only got the k and n on it now, fuel pump is sitting in garage along with other parts like exhaust etc that are going to be fitted and then only driven off boost to APT (less than 25miles from mine just doing cosmetic stuff atm really and I did have help from a friend who to be fair is building his own car literally from a shell up so he knows his tiff and has taught me loads, front lights Wernt hard just time consuming to get a good job done but well worth it in the end IMO

Yes, quite right, they were well worth it in the end.

Not many attempt it so fair play to you IMO.

K&N or similar never make a vast enough difference to qualify a map or tweak.

Only when they are coupled with other modifications, does it become necessary to visit a geek.

Cool you posted any pics of yours ? We're doing rears Friday they are more difficult to get apart tho but only two bolts to remove lights so that should save some time

Rears are a bit trickier to split but when done, they look the business!!!

Just seen mAte nice car ! My side light bits are same as yours I see you done the inside projector looking bit too, we left this as was told it was a reflector type bit or something lol loving the front splitter on yours and calipers I'm doing mine soon dunno what colour to do them tho??

Yea did mine black to look different a little. the calipers was easy enough just have to sand it till you remove the existing lacquer then spray it with heat resistant primer and the the colour of your choice leave it to dry then I used 2k lacquer. But having to say that you probably know this already. Lol prep is so important. What colour you thinking?

Yeah good prep makes a good finish, erm well possibly a silver with black brembo stickers put on as I'm going for black wheels next and cars Guna be silver and black theme so silver calipers will contrast against the black wheels
