Am I Seeing right here or not? Have you used just a wire brush? I can't see no flatwheel, wire wheel or grinder!! If you are only using a wire brush all you are doing is tickling the top and only removing around 5% o the infected metal:shock:

You Need to get the grinder out and start smashing the living daylights out of it! Grind it,paint it,grind it,paint it etc etc otherwise you will be back in the same position this time next year:shock:

Nice poster's on the wall by BTW:razz:

Come on James. We all know this mate Like she said its the first rub down .We have ground down the rust with a grinder and a wire wheel. We used the wire brush to start off with to see the severity of damage and then took it from there. :)

How come you can clearly see the big rust blemishes under that paint? What you treating it with? What grade wheels you using? What underseal you applying? I take it you inspected all the cavities with a camera!! This is the most important stage and if you don't get this right the final paint finish will look nasty!

Michelle am glad your finally sleeping better must be something to do with that small pea that was in your bed!!

As it says in the thread first rub down, I have treated because it will be coming in and out of the garage.
It's clearly not finished, thanks for your input

The underneath has got surface rust, it is been rubbed down to the metal then the metal is being hammerited then waxoyled.

It does look quite bad, but it being sorted. :D
