Elphant - they dont normally imsure yunguns with evo's
but i had the policy bought outright for a MG ZR
i wanted to get the MLR/Pace ward insurance but they nly insure people who have experiance of a performance car (scooby or evo....ect

At 26 your insurance will be at least £3k. Mine was nearly £2k at 29 with max no-claims and a clean license, cheapest I could get by far. You need to be around 33/34 to get under £1k. Mate's just bought a VI she's 25 with full no-claims and has just paid £5500 to insure it :shock::shock: And that was cheapest quote by far!

Dependant on area that will be. I'm 26 now and pay 820. Got my Evo at 24 and never paid over 1500. I only had 3 years Ncb when I bought the car now have 5

I still get quotes over 2k but I have the patience to search for better

yeah for sure, when i rang up it was to swap it over from my ep3. and when they said it was only an extra £160 i nearly fell of my chair. was a good day

Haha ep3 I came from one of those, and I paid only 300 quid more a year for the Evo

it seems alot of people came from ep3, good little cars. just was not practical having 3door with new born. so the evo ticked all the boxes.

Iv just paid £870, 27 full no claims, no crashes, no points on my V.

Was the first quote I rang for and with pace ward, probably could have got it for less but I hate ringing insurers and going through quotes so just paid it lol.

Great looking VI by the way, I like the orange indicators too different from the now norm of clear ones
