Just got some cheapie wing mirrors on the bay.
Not sure about them though
Only fitted one at the minute. Even pulled the car out of the garage to have a looksie in the daylight
Might look better if I paint them?

Sorry, I got them over a year ago and can't remember the price. They certainly weren't expensive though.
Mine have been on for about a year and a half and are still in tip top condition.
Isn't FCM a trader on here too?

Had the car serviced at Greer Sport up in Scotland when I went up to see the parents the other week.
About a week after I came back home the belts started to make some screeching noises but it went away after a couple of minutes on the road. It steadily got worse over the course of about 4-5 days so I booked the car in to Indigo-GT to get the belts changed (not due till either next year or about another 20k miles!).
I stuck the car in the garage for a couple of weeks as I didn't want to drive it. When I pulled it out to head to Wales this morning it was totally silent. It was silent all the way to Indigo too (about 50 miles).
Turns out the aux belt pulley was goosed and you could pop the centre out with your fingers!! Also looked like the cam belt was the original too (SVA imports said the belt had been changed when imported!!). Soooo. All belts/pulleys replaced and the car is now running like it should apart from the fact the tick over is all over the place
On the hunt now for a new TPS as it was flagging up errors on the ECU. Will have to get this fixed before the end of the month as the MOT is due in early March.
Long story short. This month I've spent £240 for service, £380 at Indigo (includes a set of wind deflectors ) and about a gazilion pounds on fuel!
Still. Car is still great to drive. Even after 3.5 years

Car passed it's MOT today. It failed on Thursday due to an excessively leaky exhaust. An exhaust that was supposedly fixed when it was serviced last month (I even supplied new bolts and a gasket!!).
Still, onwards and upwards. It's now booked in to Indigo-GT to get a fuel pump, solenoid and remap on the 27th

I'm thinking gloss black but I'm also tempted to go for primer grey

Few updates.
Had the car up at Indigo-GT this week for a walbro, 3 port and a remap.
Turns out my forge actuator was goosed so I got a new one of those too.
Car made 280 at the wheels. The remap coupled with a working actuator has totally transformed it
I though it had felt gutless recently but put that down to the fact I had the CAT on for the MOT.
Also got a set of black standard mirrors and ditched the WRC style ones. It's such a treat to have mirrors where I can actually see behind me again!
Just need to get the wheels refurbed now and I'll be relatively happy with it.

some black door handles would match in well. standard lancer ones are plastic and do the perfect job, cheap too

Had the car on the rollers at PowerStation in Tewkesbury today.
Made 341bhp / 319lbft which I'm more than happy with. After my recent drama's with the car not idling and misfiring.
New plugs, injectors, O2 sensor, checking coil packs etc etc and after all that it turns out to be the MAF. The honeycomb had come off and was sitting in there sideways!!
Got a new one fitted now and it's running very nice.
Also got a set of evo 8 Billies on the way with eibach springs and a metal evo 9 dump valve. (Both should have been here last week but as with anything you buy on the MLR they seem to take an age to arrive!!)
