My evo 4 project

Hi everyone ill start out by saying hi to everyone as this is my first post , I have just bought my first lancer well im collecting it next week. its a evo 4 on p plate, I have bought it with a rod sticking out the block basically. Im planning on fitting a later engine in but not sure which. if I fit lets say a evo 7 engine in do I have to use the evo 7 ecu or are they the same? is the wiring loom the same on all the engine's and is it a straight forward swap, Are the engine mounts worth replacing for uprated one's or are they fine.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo in white

In good condition, just needs a new bottom end of engine as it has blown a hole in it.

Haven't got the time or money to fix it so just want quick sale.

All other running gear in spot on condition

Had lots of modifications but I bought the car like that so I don't know exactly what's been done to it.

There is a print out to prove 330bhp

Evo 4 ecu can't be mapped so you'd need a newer ecu or a stand alone ecu

Cheers well the bloke said it was running. 330 brake so I presumed it should already have a later ecu in then, I'll post the part number when I get it and maybe one of you guys can tell me which ecu I have. Cheers

Mate is just buy running EVO 4 with better engine I went down this route so far its cost me over 4 grand and I'm still not finished
