Think its time I start a thread to show the progress of the car. With the fast show coming up i'm trying to get her looking the best I can with the time and money I have.

I've posted these pics before but want to start at the beginning.

So here she is on the day that I got her.

Today the oc stickers arrived (mind her, she looks a little dirty with water marks)
Calipers also painted black (Ill get a good pic of these tomorrow)
And in the morning she has new shoes being fitted. :awesome:

Gonna have a chat with the guy at Execspec tomorrow and see what deals he can do for me.
We have a buffer but i'm a little wary using it and don't want to burn through the laquer.
Going to polish the strut brace up this weekend, well the sides, i'm only short so it'll have to stay dull in the middle lol

Still waiting for mudflaps and carbon battery cover to arrive, I hope the postman brings them in the morning.

Getting wheels from execspec in Nottingham, he's a friend of a friend and very helpful, does valeting, wrapping etc.
Think i got the other bits from Evobits.

Would appreciate a point in the right direction if you know anywhere helpful and reliable.

I just keep searching the net for goodies, I love carbon :wub:

Thankyou for all your positive messages, Ill check out the detailing too.

Went to get wheels put on yesterday, they're very nice but unfortunatly are sitting abit close to the suspension, having to order some lower profile tyres to give abit more clearance. Hopefully these will be on Thursday or Friday.

A little gutted about it so I decided to work on some of the smaller details instead (meaning the Mr did it while i supervised and cooked dinner to show my appreciation)

The grill behind the vent needed a little touch up so painted it black, and did the surround in matt black

All the bonnet vents needed a touch up so they all went matt black too

Then gave the strut brace a good paint and polish.
Also painted the exhaust heat shield, but doesn't look too good so he has treated me to a tubular manifold. OOh the excitment

thats different the engine is the other way round
