For those interested, I'll keep a diary along with pics of my build as it progressess It wont be an overnight affair as im not made of money, but hoping to be complete within a few months

Everyone says the are good

If I'm ever gonna do a build I think I would use one of these or the newer model are they fast spooling?

Well, I have a reliable source that they are revising the S205 again from the S205B The changes are a ceramic core and larger compressor wheel whilst remaining billet on the compressor wheel front. Hoping this is available about the time I buy the turbo

Will keep updated as things happen. Don't want to list a detailed spec as some things are bound to change lol

mine was one of the first version to come out. it did suffer with wastegate failure but sent it off to TT and it was fitted with a revised wastegate and back on my doorstep in 3days and i never even bought it new.
no reciept nothing, just sent it to them fearing the worse. but when i rang to ask what it was going to cost me they said its been done free of charge and due to arrive that day as it did

i know of a couple failures but nothing on the scale of the fp turbos :shock:

Yea one thing is for sure, you can't beat turbo technics for service !

fantastic service that's for sure If budget is to allow, i would like a rossport GT3076 kit for sure. But if budget doesnt then the S205 over any other stock frame ticking time bomb

Productive Day

Bit more progress today. Interior pretty much completely stripped ( in terms of what i can remove ). Only dash remaining along with wiring which will be whittled down by Darren as i aint a clue what's required and what isnt. Just need to finish off getting the last remains of sound deadening off then will be final clean and ready for the cage to be installed

Next on the agenda for me is to clean the engine bay, paint the subrame and flat down the crossmember and slam pannel for tidying up
