:( my car sounds like she's dying !!

My clutch has been playing up for a week or 2 now and tonight driving home from frigging staffordshire she decides to make this weird noise when she's in gear and i'm releasing my foot off the clutch pedal in 1st gear and reverse :cry:

Hoping to get it fixed by the weekend but i'm not holding my breath...

just one thing after another :cry::cry:

On route to EL's to see what's the matter is with her, then depends what's up with her, and what parts I need etc etc and he's gonna do what needs to be done on sat ! So fingers crossed it's just the thrush or release bearing gone.

it might be the release bearing does the noise come and go if you engage and disengage the clutch pedal?

Yea when I put my foot on the clutch, and releasing it, it makes that horrible noise.

sounds like something rubbing wearing, though do you have covers on the inspection holes on the ger box? can you see if anything has dropped it?

Can't see if anything has dropped, yeah there's little grommets covering the holes.

Fitted an e7/8/9 stage 2 competition clutch and fly wheel to my e4 a few months back,

not much change left over from 1k :cry:

Not cheap at all, to top it off It needs taxing end of this month, 2 new front tyres, ( as they are pretty much smooth :shock: ) and tracking will need doing once the tyres on, oh and my aux tension belt is making a funky noise and my lash adjusters too.

What they say about it comes in 3's is bull cos that's 6 poxy things that need sorting, either that or I'm cursed :sad: as it was only 2 months bk I had new top mounts, new c.v joint, ( driveshaft) new rear hub and bearing fitted, and that all came £670, this car is a nightmare at the mo...

Not a nice situation to be in Hope you can get it all sorted. Just think once it's all sorted, it'll be fun to drive again and you'll probably forget all you had to do to it
