Ok not the best weekend I've ever had!! Had my 2008 Defender stolen and stripped on Friday night/ Saturday morning.

They took the usual defender parts which fetch big money and only take minutes to remove!

What am asking you guys for is if you can keep your eye open for parts being listed on the internet if they do ( more like there already on another vehicle or in a container ready to go abroad)

Parts that were stolen are:

Bonnet,Both front doors,Grille,Winch bumper with A-bar and warn winch, both front seat bases and black defender floor mats.

Bonnet and doors are silver metallic and bumper is black.

Will add some pictures up later on.

Thanks Guys.

Langar is a favourite hotspot same as my village Nick! Hope your mate got it sorted mate.

Got to be thankful that it was found!! Think they got spoked once they found the Tracker flashing it's nuts off! Best part about it it was found 500 yards down the lane in a field.

Billy I am a member on a few land rover and off road forums so am keeping my eyes wide open.

As basic as the defender is they are now classed as some sort of Icon and parts fetch big money, specially when you own a County or XS spec defender like my father and I do. Just for a pair of Front Doors with electric windows and central looking have a price tag second hand from £600 to £1100 depending on condition and paint codes and it can take 2-3 minutes to remove the door as the hinges are exposed and only 4 bolts to remove off the bulkhead side! The bonnet takes 10 seconds to remove as no bolts are needed to be un-done as all defenders have quick release brackets to make working on the engine easier!

Thanks guys! It's the theft has caused me to have the vehicle off the road so I have tofind another vehicle for Tuesday morning! Which will give me some breathing space to find parts needed!

I know what thats like , been sat at home all week with no truck.
Ripped wiring loom out from under cab back, priced bits at volvo and cried.
Took it to auto sparks to make looms up but still going to cost 5k + with new looms made and loss of earnings.
Picking it up this afternoon.
