MR
-turbo hotside 10.5t
-uprated cams

non MR
-turbo hotside 9.8t
-std cams

Basically thats the difference but there are others. The MR is what mitsi should have brought out but instead produced the FQ 1st .....

The MR will need slightly less upgrades to reach higher power

no shouldn't be put off as the cost for the upgrades isn*mt that much about 500 for a good set of cams and 500 for a better turbo

I think the mr is a lightweight to the fq correct me if I'm wrong guys that's what I thought? And if you want the grey it only comes in the mr. The diference is like already being stated turbo hotside and cams. Last thing very important mr cost a little bit more lol

The roof is 20kg lighter too, than than straight FQ, giving slightly improved handling with the lower centre of gravity.

The MR has Bilstein suspension and it sits slightly lower than the straight FQ....carbon dash inserts, different Recaro interior, different wheels, and a few other little bits and bobs :)

Must've been having a funny 5mins, dont know why i said 20kg....its actually 4kg lighter, apologies  :whistling:

This is actually a fantastic video that shows some of the comparisons between the 8gsr and the JDM 8MR, so you can see the differences and how they affect the cars handling and performance

Check out from 12min40secs to see some interesting comparisons with the roof changes from GSR to MR, or just watch the whole thing as its so good, and it also compares the Evo8MR to other great JDM supercars, such as the R34GTR, NSX-R and Scooby.

Enjoy....
