MOTUL SPORT 5w-50 FULLY SYNTHETIC ESTER ENGINE OIL. IN 350BHP EVO 8???

Hi folks, I am going to service my evo 8 350bhp ish before I put it away for the winter. I have a 5L tub of Motul sport 5w-50 in my garage. Will 5w 50 fully synthetic ester oil be okay in my evo or do I need to buy something else .

The car has 55k miles
Driven on road not track

Hi you can use it just to use it up as the oil changes are so close (Not my choice of oil)
You sound like you don't rev the hell out of the engine
So it won't matter

But stick to a 40w in future regardless of the 1st no
ie 0W40, 5W40 or 10W40 if it was my car a 0 or 5w40 Motul/Millers/Redline
I use Redline in my FTO just personal choice

The 1st No. ie 0, 5 or 10 refers to the thickness when cold (higher number = thicker)
the second number refers to thickness when hot so all are the same when hot
