Morning All,

I got pointed over here by Steve (V5 STV),so thought it would be rude not to sign up and say hi.

New to the Evo scene, just bought my first one at the beginning of Feb, and being me thought I would start at the start and work up. Car is a 1993 Evo 1, imported in 2003, and slowly modified over the coming years. From this point it is better to let the pictures do the talking:

Car is pushing 400bhp, 350lb.ft, weighs around 1160kg wet without the nut behind the wheel, and has wanted for nothing.

Will be at the Combe Action day on the 9th, already got some track time booked. Will hopefully be able to pop over during the day to say hi in person.

No change there G, thats the way of things, but managed to get over here in time thanks to a timely pm from Steve.

Yes Fazz, that is Tein suspension you can see there, with lots more "nice" bits underneath allowing some extreme track geo to be used.

Engine is fully forged, manley 9.1 piston, eagle H-section rods etc. Head has been ported with 1mm oversized stainless valves, 280deg cams, DNP manifold feeding 3" custom exhaust (97dB on static now!),Tial 38mm external gate, Autronic PnP ECU with anti lag and launch control wired up, lots more that I am discovering at the moment.

The car is very quick due to weight, but there is more to come for sure. Just need to get used to a new driving style having come from classic FWD Saab's into the Evo, so the next couple of months is for me to get used to the car, no heroics out on track, just steady and build confidence and ability.

Looking forward to meeting you all in the coming months..... come over and say hi if you see me about, I don't bite (mostly).

Welcome over to this club bud:), you don't get the keyboard warriors you do on the other club as we discussed.

I met Dave (Fubes) at Launchmotorsport and seen this wee beastie !! This evo is nuts as dave took me through the spec list and he's a decent bloke too.
Look forward to catching up at Combe mate :)

Thanks for the welcome guys and guyesses.

Steve, Geof, play nice, there are ladies present now!

Just the last little bits to fettle ahead of the track day. I have replaced the DS2500 pads with some nice new EBC Bluestuff NDX's, but that has only gone to show that the front discs are kippered, so have whipped them off today and will be taking them down to my local friendly engineering works tomorrow to use the "big" lathe (as oppossed to the V.Big Lathe, which is one size down from the F.Big Lathe LoL).

Once the discs are true that should be it. Engine mounts. Check (Nice set of Ralliart ones fitted),front drop links. Check. Full fluid swap. Check. Balls to go flat out on my first track day in him? Not on your life!

Will start a dev thread up in a little while once I start to fettle him properly.
