more bottom end probs help !!!!!!!!!!!

right guys got the engine stripped and a set of standard size acl con rod bearings tried to fit them today and they seem to be to thick fitted them to the car all torqued correctly but when there all torqued up the engine is very tight to turn by hand

is this normal or do i have something to worry about does anybody have a guide to fitting the bearings just to make sure i havent done anything wrong as the shells i took out didnt have any notched on any of the corners but the acl race bearings have a small notch on one of the corners is there a specific way this needs to be fitted

With bottom end bearings you need plenty of oil on assembly and the notches will only go in one way

i would suggest getting some of this

That way you can see what clearances you do have
