hi all, ive got a mondeo zetec s tdci (st look a like) 52 plate as a run about, very high millage (150k) and its slower than a week in the jail and also very smokey and think it shat a park off the cat out on way back to work this evening.
what im after is some info on if these things are able to be mapped and if it would be worth it at all?

At that mileage and from your description I would say the injectors are worn out and no point in mapping it if it's smoking

Injectors, fuel filter, new glow plugs, full service once that done a map and car will run sweet

cheers for the info:D
it got a service a month ago, got fuel filter, oil filter, oil and a pollen filter, think that was it. any ideas how much id be looking to pay for injectors and glow plugs?
the turbo feels non existent, could this be caused by the obove things that need done or a worn out turbo?
cheers again for the info:D

Get the fueling sorted ie injectors and the plugs for good measure hopefully they are just the problem a worn turbo is what you don't want, it could just be down to it being tired imo a turbo generally works or don't

I would go down the injector route tbh, check end float and oil present in the turbo housings to be sure
