Hi all, just wanted to know what kind of mods will help increase the performance of the evos and what sort of bhp to expect. The best way to go about it? What have you done to your car? What mods get me what kinda power?
Currently standard 300bhp need to get more, you know when you have the urge for your car to go as quick as that porsche which overtook you while you had your foot down, (not a good feeling).
This is what happened driving to Bournemouth few weeks ago, sun was shining me and my mates got the BBQ, few drinks what not.
Cruising down the a34 when an integra type r come up behind me, going fast then slowing down waiting for me just to give it some. So i decided to floor it and very quickly left him behind, I mean you know what it's like, turbo non turbo don't stand a chance.
Went a couple of miles down the road talking about the Evo how its the ultimate driving machine, look at what you get for the money. Then it happened, a porsche not sure about the model, defo turbo thow come up by the side and my mates were like go on then so just floored it again, don't think he (porsche) knew what was gona happen i pulled away. But then he crept up behind me and was gone, I couldn't keep up.
As we were coming bck they were tipsy I was sober. We got on the subject and was talking evos again how there are sum out there that would of showed him (porsche) and that's when I thought right am gona have to do something now and decided I need to get more bhp and torque to make sure it didn't happen again. So next time I keep up and here I am trying to do the right thing.
So if you got any advice for us let us know? I got around £1500 to spend and want to get the most out of my car without blowing it up.
