mod update e4 sump guard / skid plate :O)

[evo arm's m7960]

decided to make up a sump guard for my e4 today as yet again i grounded out my 3" front pipe on a poxy speed bump . and my car aint really that low but there are some big bumps where i live :O(



i did look at buying one but couldnt seem to find any for sale other than full rally carbon so in a Ateam inspired moment thought i would have a go .




its my first attempt and i may change the mounts but will see how it works first :O)




its a alloy sheet just under 2mm thick that makes use of my lower steel h brace with 2 extra bars added for support bolted to the front cross member that sits 5 to 8 mm lower than my front pipe .




now some one told me i may need some air vents in it what do you think ???

the h brace is not standard and most aftermarket one's ive seen are alloy so worked out well for me that mine is steel :0)
