Myself I had 3 gti's oh and a jetta

red big bumper 3dr 8v about 14 years ago not much in the way of mods as I sold the problem car before it cost me anymore money

Next

Helios grey big bumper 3dr 16v
Lowered on koni top adjustable set of cross spoke bbs style deep dish wheels and I also fitted a jetta front end and upper grill spoiler

Next and possible the the best was my jetta, oh she was a beaut !
Mk2 16v with drilled airbox KnN filter and a full scorpion exhaust. Oh she was loud. I got pulled in this one night by a copper stood in middle of the road as I came out of a corner. Told me he knew his way round a mk2 gti and from the noises he could hear and from how far he could here me he reckoned I was doing well over a ton. No officer, it's a 60 limit down through here Owned it about 10 years ago.

Then the last was a white 5dr 16v I bought cheap as a runner about 4 years ago. Standard car

Two mk 2 1 1.3 with big bumpers and.slamed second a g60 gti edition with jabba charger and loads slammed on porka rims as soon as i can i will post pic . Ya got to love the mk2 golf

Had a Mk 3 but always a soft spot for mk 1 & 2's. I work as a vw tech, the mk6 gti is outstanding but, nothing beats the character of the old school.

The mk6 is an awesome car, and the golf "R" aint half bad either. But the mk5 does it for me cos it has the old school chequered seats! lovely

Mate you've had a very attractive selection of golfs, love the pics of your mk2 that's awesome. If i had the time and space and dollar i would get a mk2 gti shell 3door big bumper version and put the mk4/audi tt 18T in it, 225 break with little weight but, instead i'm gonna scratch my EVO itch hopefully very soon.

It is a bit of a bloater to be fair and proper gutless!

I had a purple mk3 and before that a scirocco. I must try dig the pictures out of the loft

I had the Seat Cupra K1. Same tech but prefered the shape to the mk6 golf

Yes the mk3 put on a bit of weight but damn the mk4 was far and slow. Some of them have been tastefully modded though

tryed to find some old pics of my golfs and all i could come up with was my mk1 clipper gti cab in purple with a carlton gsi half leather interia and a montego turbo front splitter painted black :O)
