Is it coming from the front of the prop shaft where it pops into the transfer box? If so, the seal has gone and needs replaced. Order one from Camskill here... MITSUBISHI OE GENUINE PARTS - SERVICING PARTS, TUNING SPARES & SERVICE ACCESSORIES - Transfer Box to Propshaft Seal - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7 8 9 CT9A :: £4.88 :: Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 1(I) 2(II) 3(III) 4(IV) 5(V) 6(VI) 7(VII) 8(VIII) Parts, Tu

Part is under £5, but it's a transfer box off job, so unless you are doing it yourself, it will cost a fair bit. Guessing a garage would charge about 3 hours labour, @ £50 per hour + VAT, so that's £180 in labour alone for 3 hours work.

I'm gonna be dropping my transfer box on Friday to change a tiny O-ring worth £3, not paying a garage that kind of money to fit a £3 part!
