Missing under boost ??

Problem has just started there today car like I've said before has Evo 8 engine and full 3 inch straight through exhaust but when it's idlein the car misses the odd time and when the car is boosting she misses aswell but doesn't miss when at a standstill and revving it. Anyone have any idea what's up hoping it hasn't slipped timing

first thing id check m8 is spark plugs mine did this just after christmas, car would idle fine but under boost got a miss fire, they were gaped at 0.65 took them out gaped them to 0.55 and all is well. she is due a new set just waiting on the weather to pick up and full service is on its way

Yes that's a good Idea think mine should be due a service in another 2000km what's the story with servicing the ayc ? Is it as costly as they say ?

+1 evos sensitive to plug gap they have to be spot on or else they miss,also coilpacks are a known fault aswell

just to add ayc servicing is very cheap if you do it yourself its not hard.
the high pressure pump side of the ayc does not need changing really just the ayc oil bath in the
diff and the front part of the diff which takes the gear oil

haha we all gotta start some were m8 been around evo's for a while now and still i need to ask questions on regarding stuff u never stop learning with these things and that wallet in your ass pocket is all ways empty as well hahaha

Missing problem sorted anyway men checked all the plugs and set them to .55mm but one of the plugs was wet on removal don't know where the moisture came outa dried it off and barrelled the engine over while the plug was out and now runs perfect under boost but still missing while idling times you wud think she's going to hang and as for the wallet Evomad4 that's the way I like to keep it can't buy other stupid things then lol
