Does anybody else get P*****d off with people saying this to you when you tell them what you drive
Ive got a bike aswell and am enjoying life, bought what ive always wanted.

Lol that's just what some people assume when they see a man of a certain age driving a nice car, same as if they see a young pup driving as well, some just assume it's the rents car lol.
Wether ur knocking on deaths door or just shot out the birth canal, we both get ridiculed.

Uc em I say they are just probably jealous cos they can't afford what you have

Talking to a guy offshore, would think well into his 50's, 550-600 evo VII. Mid-life crisis or not, I would still like an evo at a similar age

I always get people saying, "mummy and daddy pay for that" which grips my sh1t. I worked bloody hard to get my baby, (well, I worked, hard is debatable) I just let them know a tour to Sandy place paid for it and that jealously gets you nowhere.

never had handouts parents too tight and my mums best advice on buyin a nice car is ooooooo it has a 7 year warrenty..................

no thats the thing that winds me up. i changed the pads on her picanto about 2 months ago, was amazed that the black gooey substance in the engine was still doing its job dont think its ever been changed and thats all that has needed doing to it since she bought it new in 2004 and on top of that she pays 45 quid a year tax. i still wont get one!!!!

but my bro is being swayed by a kia pro ceed (they do look nice)

im 23 and ive got an evo 8 and a sports bike, i own both of them out right with no debts, people look at me funny when im driving the car or get off the bike and i reckon the people in my street think im a drug dealer lol ive had people slag the car off too just cus they are jelous! also the police pull me over cus they think im either uninsured or ive nicked it, think id prefer to be told im having a mid life crisis sometimes lol

the pro ceed is a nice car, its nice to drive too. i know that 7 years warrenty is very good but like you said, not gonna happen

i have had the same problem with the police, i have done since my gt4. i laugh to myself now when i see them in the mirror following me. i would love to floor it one day.... :awesome:

im lucky guys, i had my mid life crises about 10 years ago !!!!!!!!
All good now and still enjoy thrashing the 7 every chance i get, just coming up to 50 and the car is 550bhp, by the time im 60 i should be up to 1000 hp PMSL

Yes im approaching 48 this year , ride a ZX10R and own my 360 Evo 5 (Bright Yellow ) lol
and a Bright green bike ha ha .
think as well your as old as you feel .
yes i think there is jealousy when people say this ,but as most of you said let em get on with it .
