Hi, need help with instructions fitting a Manual Boost Control valve... Nothing fancy just a twisty turn knob type. It's for an evo 6 gsr. Pictures would be greatful too thanks! I have tried using the search but don't find anything for the E6..

only manual one to use is a dawes device.

pipe from turbo j-pipe to mbc from mbc to actuator

Oh ok... Sounds like a bad idea.. Yes got boost gauge.. I'm actually having it mapped next Monday, was just going to fit one so it can be adjusted... I won't bother now..

Your engine will be fine, its just that the 3 port is more preferred, I have 3 port but the ports have blocked up so I have my dawes plugged in and its been like that for about 18 months no issues. If your getting it mapped you might as well have a 3 port plummed in

i was for using a EBC, but keep reading about people saying a 3 port is better, let the ECU run your boost

i was for fitting a Greddy profec b spec 2
but binned that an started to read about 3 ports

its an evo 4 with 6 ecu, injectors, turbo an few other little bits

yea thats on the plan when i get it back out for mot

so is a 3port the way to go? or boost controller?
im not 1 for upping the boost or messing about
