***max Performance***

HELLO ALL,,just a wee heads-up,got my evo 4 from this joker,who advertises himself as max performance on pistonheads,i heard a rattly noise on way home,thought nothing of it,sounded like a heatshield,so i carried on,long story short,just discovered tonight that the exhaust was attatched to the manifold with 1 fitting(which was loose)also needed to do a hub,there was no locknut key,i did try contact him-no answer to calls or text.obviously i should have checked before buying,but you do put a certain amount of trust in people,he was well aware i was driving back 2 scotland and my wee lad was with me-that did piss me off. he is still advertising other evo's and my car is still in the ad,i would advise any1 to steer clear of this character,he is not honest,nor well mannered.
anyway,enuf moaning,apart from this i am delighted i bought it,its top drawer and its come to a good home

i remember going to get a car one night after work 3 hours drvie to get there car seemed fine until i was driving for a half hour lights started to dim down and she just died

altenator was gone i had an awful job trying to get home swapping batterys with my mate etc 4 am when i got home :disgusted::disgusted::disgusted:

ever since then i would never go to look at a car unless the owner is willing to meet me a good distance from his home or at his home

some people would chance their arm at anything

hit and miss buying a car in this day an age mate like my dad says 9times out of 10 your buying someone elses problems

having said that atleast your a proud owner of an evo so not all bad just have to make it your own now and make it all better

just wanted to let u all know,and his office is his house in a grubby backstreet in burnley/blackburn area. i just wouldnt like it to happen to some other lad/lass,goin to spend a good few quid on thier pride and joy, there are other evo's out there-and the sellers are probably as genuine as us. all the best,i hope ive helped.

It would be a massive help if you could post up a full address or postcode.

Did it look like the house was being lived in or just vacant and used for the sales???
