manifold cover bolts

what's the best way to get these out! All ready taken them out about a year ago the take the old cover off! But this time they seem stuck? Didn't over tighten them last time so didn't think i'll have a prob! Is it better to do it with the engine cold or warm? Thanks

Warm the engine up first the lots of lube when they start coming out

warmed it up and snapped the first one i tryed first turn and snap! will try again tomor!

Think you need to get them red hot. I had to do that today heat shield off bran new second hand manifold on

bugger you will prob find the rest will snap also if they do drill them out and retap the thread or leave the heat shield off like i do............

just bought an ARC heat shield so really wany to get them out so i can fit it.

my middle one snapped but the outter ones was fine.i dont think what ever you do if there going snap then they will

They NEED shock, not leverage. I snapped most of mine on my old 6's, you just drill them out and then use EZouts Re-tap them and you're ready to go again!

tryed the other`s and they didn`t move so stopped before they snapped, will have a good go this weekend! thanks for all your help, shame none of you live near! i`d pop round and get one of you with the know how to help me lol
