Yeah cheers guys. It's a shame because whoever built the engine did a fairly good job coz I've stripped the lot now and they used real quality parts, but never had much of a clue about oiling everything and priming it all before running it. Noticed as well oil pump look pretty worn, explains the low pressure! I no I shouldn't spend money on a 4 bottom end rebuild but at the end of the day I'm only running 300hp so I'm not needing a hardcore bottom end. The compression is excellent and rods are perfect so it's going to get a crank grounding and new shells and new pump. Happy days guys thanks all for the help. I'll keep you all posted on the motor once it's sorted
