lowering query??

does anybody know how much i can lower my evo 9 fq340? it is lower at the back on the original suspension anyway and im lookin at a sensible drop not slammed. its got original 17 inch wheels on it. i was thinkin 40 at the front and 30 at the back??
any advice would be much appretiated.

Tein do some springs,I think there 35mm front and 30mm on the rear, there's a few sets on ebay going for around 156quid,unless you want to spend a silly amount of money id just buy the springs as you already have good shockers,if you want a full kit your looking at between 600-1100quid depending on the sort,I.e sport,super sport,track,coilovers ect,which in my opinion are pointless,you might aswel get a wad of 50's and set fire to it.hope this helps

As it is a IX you can be pretty sure that the shocks are good. Get your mits on some quality lowering springs. It is the cheapest option available buddy.

cheers lads.
just purchased some tein s tech lowering springs. hopefully get them fitted early next week. thanks for the advice cant see the point of spending £££ on some coilovers or hardcore suspension. just want a better look really. will put some photo's up when done.
