lowered my evo 4 with -45mm apex springs only problem is cos I have LPG on the evo (don't judge me only way can have n evo and a family )the tank in the boot has made the rear aprox 25m lower than the front so handling is NOT good need to no how to lower front same ..............:confused:
could cut springs but mot time it will fail :mad:

Troll eBay buddy I saw a set of ohleins (spelling) go for £200 a few weeks back.


Defo think along the lines of lifting the rear as you probably struggle to get springs that lower more than 70mm from standard height.

It's the only way, you'll never get it sat properly with generic springs and an LPG tank in the boot.

I know you are right just getting hold of a second hand set cheap that ant f**ked hard as only get a small amount a month to spend on evo

Thought about getting a diesel?

Seems to come across you find it hard to use a evo for you needs?

Lot of us just use ours weekends and few as daily cars..

had a evo3 450bhp 11sec 1/4 mile for weekends and shit diesel for work missed just driving it all the time

if you fitted the standard rear springs back on with the extra weight of the lpg it may be more level than what you have now and then save up for some coilovers :0)

please dont cut the springs :0(
