lost my pops and bangs on overrun

as above . 2 days ago i lost my pops and bangs on overrun when feathering the throttle that are mapped in .and it would not idle in the morning when cold till I'd gone about 2 miles . ? I still get pops and bangs on gear change like i did before with the als . but nothing at all on overrun. .

i had the same problem on my e4 last year, after driving a few miles on the a500 got to the end and the car was idleing very badly, after thinking the worst i found that a very thin house had come off the back of the intake mani. give me 10mins ill go take a pic for ya

here we go its the thin pipe with the jubilee clip on the pip goes down the back of the engine to a white plastic canister

no hoses off I've checked them all lol its strange how I lot my overrun rumble when feathering the throttle and tge sane day it won't idle when cold .. ive just blanked off my recirc but still the same ; (

; ( I've checked every vacume and boost pipe . when warm temp half way evoscan says it's 200 deg farenhight so that sound ok tps is at 13%when closed and 100% open O2 sensor reading ok

MMmmmmm, did u check the IDC "idle control valve"
as i say mine did the exact same thing lost the rumble on the over run part but the bangs were still there and idle went stupid..... but mine was that small hose... maybe check the hose that runs to the SAS valve as i no a few peeps have found a split in them or "im not 100% sure if you would get the pops and bangs still" but if the SAS valve as fecked up...

Yeh I removed and checked the iacv but it was ok il have to check all little pipes again as the 1 you found off I'm sure is for vacume holder for the sas ..

I've noticed the re s don't pick up when you turn the aircon on anymore ?
