Agree with Nick, it shouldn't be aired in public. I do however fail to see what all the fuss is about. I never go to a show and look at trophy's for best clubstand tbh, in fact I couldn't give a rats arse on which club has won what! But I do care about attending shows for the laugh and crack and not slanging matches within.

I do think Nick should have the trophy as it is his club after all and he has agreed for the trophy to be used for photoshoots or any other reason for it to be on display, so I don't see the problem with it.

Lee has done a lot for this club and it is recognised throughout with it's members acknowledging the fact that he has done so. This is just my opinion of course:angel:

Lee be honest with yourself mate, do you ever see trophies displayed at shows saying they won best stand at some other show in the past? Because I can't say I've ever noticed and why it would want to be photographed I have no idea

Whilst Im certainly not happy with what is occurring behind the scenes please dont let it take away from what was an excellent show.
And whilst the battle seems to be mainly between me and Lee dont think for one minute im going to stand for people bashing Lee for his work for the club. Foxy put in huge effort organising this (and many other meets) and Lee did a lot of work and a massive load work on the day organising things there. So please dont take this for granted, even if you didnt attend this particular show. I am very grateful for all the work that went into it all.

But as for the trophy, I have decided that I wish to be the custodian of it. It is special to the club and as the buck ultimately stops with me I wish to look after it. I have already said it should be made available for Foxys photoshoots and for next years Forge show and other worthy events.
Thats my decision. Ive gone into it at great lengths in the staff only section. Its not up for debate. Whether it will be actioned is to be seen.

Nick am sorry but if this sort of thing is kicking off behind closed doors then the members do need to know about it! Can you clear a few things up for us please as I am confused along with quite a few other members what the hell is going off with Lee? Can you tell me why he is still a moderator when its quite clear his loyalties lie with the MLR or do you permanently have rose tinted glasses on? He resigns as Event Organsier spilling out some pony about being to busy then he hops over on to the MLR the same week trying to organise a meet off his own back!!! Clearly he saw a gap he could fill when Lee5 gave up as regional organiser! Surely is this not a conflict on interest? Maybe you should take a look and see how hard he's trying over there and it's not just me that has noticed this or thinks it but clearly only me who has the balls to say it.

As the owner of Evo Owners don't you think you should show your face spittle bit more either on the forum or at events or is it just a business to you?

Sorry if you think am having a go but it jacks me right off when you see the staff of this forum bumming all the staff over the road because that's where they want to be! If that's the case let them go and let the MLR have them!!! Rant over!

No you won't do will you!!! All you MLR lovers don't! Nevermind I said my bit and how I see it and if people don't like it then tuff! When your told that Lee ain't Event Organsier anymore and Terry has taken it why does he feel the need to poke his noise in and keep something he has no right over! Nick should of kept that thread open and let the poll run and it would of been clear where the trophy needed to go and make Lee realise what needed to be done!! But no because this is Evo Owners everything gets swept under the carpet.

As far as im concerned Lee is still a trusted member of staff. He has decided he no longer wants to take on the extra workload of organising meets. Which is fine.

Im on the forum a lot. Sure I may not stick my oar in to everythread but i do read the vast majority.
As for attending shows, sure i would like to but truth is its not easy for me. I dont have to justify to anyone why thanks. As for business, even with trader fees we dont actually cover costs. But thats as far as I will discuss the fiscal plans.



This is being blow out of all proportion. Its a minor disagreement between us. There is no huge war going on or any big split. Lee just disagrees with a decision, which is fine. But as the ultimate chief I have made the call and am sticking to it.

You may feel it looks bigger than it is. But really its not. I still trust Lee with his role and have no problem with him and im fairly sure he fells nearly the same.

Means im rarely seen to be posting on things. I tend to be quite quiet. IE Just because i have read a thread doesnt mean I will post in it.

Legacy. Back when I was trying to get the forum to critical mass getting traders to post in exchange for free access was a good way to build activity. There have been no new free traders for a very long time.

Yes, this is not a place ruled by committee. We try to listen to members where possible but sometimes I will make decisions which I believe are the correct decision that are in the interest of the forum as a whole.
