looking to buy an Evo 8

Hi guys, im currently driving a 3000GT and looking to upgrade to an evo 8, just wondering what to look out for and whats the difference in models, i.e i know the bhp ranging from 300,340,360,400, whats the difference as in gsr?
which is the best model to go for?
