there are a few different codes you should be able to order through mitz if you know the code for them, alternatively get them removed by a garage with a reverse thread socket, it does the trick and usually only 5 quid a wheel

Depends which sort they are to some extent, are they the Mitsubishi supplied ones? I had a recent experience with locking nuts on a Ford, these are actually manufactured by McGard (I've got a feeling from the look of them that the Mitsubishi ones are too). With the Ford if you have a card which was supplied at purchase that has a code number they can source a new key. If not McGard will supply a new for about £17 (from Germany I seem to recall) based on a photo of one of the nuts and proof of ownership of the vehicle. They will supply a new key for free if the old key breaks which is what happened to mine. Sadly I only found out all of the above after I'd gone down the brute force route of getting the nuts off and getting a new set (£70 from Ford). So what I'm getting at is check your options with Mitsubishi before trying to force them off. If they're the ones that are fitted to mine they will not respond well to reverse removal tools, been there done that.

twat a smaller socket on and air gun them off and buy a new set will be cheaper and take less time to sort out my key broke the other week and thats what i did halfords keep new mitsi lock nuts in stock about 29 quid i think

twat a smaller socket on and air gun them off and buy a new set will be cheaper and take less time to sort out my key broke the other week and thats what i did halfords keep new mitsi lock nuts in stock about 29 quid i think

That's what I did with the McGards that were on the Ford (the metal was too hard for any reverse tool or Irwin bolt removers - they just bounced off and damaged the tools),the ones I have on the EVO though have the outer spinning ring (as do the new Ford ones - and quite a substantial ring at that) which you would have to bust off first if he has that style (that is possible and I've seen it done but an extra layer of difficulty).

I've seen tyre places with a range of keys that may be an avenue to explore also.

mac tools does a tool that you hit in and it makes a new temp key but its 140 quid

i lost the key on my civic and took the car to a garage and they used the reverse thread nut its got diamond tipped teeth, cuts traight in to bite, came off a treat.

get it to a tyre fitting shop they would be your best bet and less chance of hashing up your wheels

Shame your so far away bud, can get them off without too much trouble.
