Locked out of car!

My car has a loose +ve terminal on the battery. I'm too lazy to tighten it so I just wiggle it if it doesn't work.
Came out of Macdonalds this morning and the car wouldn't start. Opened the bonnet, wiggled the terminal and went to try it. It started fine.
Closed the door and went to close the bonnet. When I was walking back round to get in the car, the bloody alarm goes and locks all the doors!!!

Taxi home and back for spare keys (engine still running).
Car was idling away and the heaters were nice and toasty when I got back :)

Moral of the story. Don't be a lazy ****** and tighten the battery!! :(

I don't drive it that often. It's just out of the garage as I've been refurbbing a set of wheels in there and didn't want to get any overspray on the car. As the weather was nice I thought I'd take it for a spin.

I had no option but to leave it running. I'd just dropped my wife off at work and her phone was dead so she wasn't answering. My only other options were to smash a window or wait for it to run out of petrol.

I've still not tightened it yet. I'll go out and do it in a minute :)
