lloydstsb phone insurance

anyone on here used/claimed off lloydstsb phone insurance ??

im no longer going to pay orange £12 a month to insure my iphone so going to be using the bank but just wondering what the insurance is like ??

orange is fualtless whenever ive used and always had a replacement delivered within 24hrs and to whereever i like and in a set time period.
is this the same with the banks or what ???

i have it with my lloyds platinum card and they had it sorted within a week and a replacement phone!!! in the end i got a brand new one.

But is the phone insurance worth the paper it's written on cos I have it with my bank along with AA cover but that ain't worth the paper it's written on cos when my turbo failed on my VII they wouldn't take me anywhere unless I paid £102 on the spot

I get the same apart from the phone insurance which is a pain but the breakdown cover, covers the car I'm in not just my car but if I'm a passenger they will assist with no fee it's great however hsbc are useless and I'm waiting for my Barclays account card to arrive so I can be with a useful bank for once

I've just claimed through Lloyds as i dropped my phone into a "Mop Bucket"....!!!

My Phone was sent off and returned to me within 2 weeks... It was still broke
So sent it off again! I have just received a new one as they couldn't repair it.... All in less than 3 weeks. Good value for money i think, also my misses phone is also covered through my Lloyds account should anything happen to it :whistling:

Fair point, The trouble is.... i have been working nights and already have a work phone so haven't really rushed in sorting the replacement issues. "Could have been alot quicker if i had really needed the phone "They promised a turnaround of 14days max and have in a way delivered...

I got the phone back last thursday, re-sent it Saturday and received the replacement today...

I left orange last year as their coverage in my area is Pants! I can only get reception in my garden with them, Vodafone gets a better signal here... not sure why so am now with them..

Yea see vodaphone won't even work if you stand in my garden. It's rubbish round here and as for the 14 day turn around, that would be like waiting for a cut off limb to grow back

Think I'll be going back to orange care
