Little help needed

Looking for a little help got a evo8 260. 1st performance car :blush:. I have seen the very useful information posted on stage 1 upgrades. Would like to know where you's recommend getting parts from. Somewhere I can trust. New or second hand. My car is standard apart from the exhaust that I got from russ fellows still need to get a de-cat down pipe. Any information would be grateful. You's have probably forgotten more than I know about evos:blush:.

Yea I have Wallace performance not far from me that I was going use to re-map the car. Not been to there place yet just had a look at there web site. Will go have a look when I get home. See what they have to offer. Thanks.

Bit of a trek from granite city, but you're probably not spoiled for choice in Scotland. Wallace Performance is also a good choice.

The issue with decatting the 260 is that it has two cats and one has a sensor attached that will put the engine warning light on if you just decat it, not sure what the permanent fix is, someone will know. As well as getting rid of the cats, a 3" exhaust, 3 port solenoid (the standard one isn't very good) and a remap should see you about 360-380. The 260 also has a 1st gear torque limiter that I think can be removed when it is re-mapped as well.

Hey no04ble, this is totally unrelated, but I noticed that you work offshore and was wondering if you had any contacts or tips or any way to help me sort of getting a chance to work offshore, I've done my bosiet and my mist, and my Norwegian sector courses, and I've almost finished my plumbing apprenticeship, so I'll have my gas qualification aswell, any help is appreciated, cheers
