Little help needed guys.

Right guys Im having an issue trying to get into 1st and reverse gears it's only started doing it, but have had a noise when pulling away in 1st for a week or 2 sounding like realise bearing of some sort? a strange groining noise when pulling away slowly. When trying to engage 1st or reverse the car will move slightly. It's a twin plate clutch not exactly sure when it was fitted.

Any help would be much appreciated

tell tale signs of clutch plate wear, you can try and adjust the pedal as a "short term" fix but ive had this twice now on my evo with twin plates and both times ice had to replace the plates and release bearing

Right cheers mate, is adjusting the pedal easy as getting to work in traffic is an issue at the moment? Do you know the best clutch to go for? Are they fairly easy to fit I've done clutches on other cars but not an evo

get your torso under the drivers footwell and get your hand up where the clutch pedal is, you can adjust and have a go and see what it does, where is the biting point, would imagine fairly low down? in terms of replacement your best bet is to fit a twin plate repair kit, which is both of your plates and release bearing, approx £550. they are the best clutches you can get so wouldn't consider putting anything else in, a new twin is around £1400
