Hello all

Been playing around with the car today and found a problem that i can not work out. I tested the interior lighting for the doors the front one works when you turn it on by hand the back one dont light up at all the door sensors works what could be the problem. ?

One last thing the fog light botten works the front lights only the back fogs have been put on a diffrent switch what will i need to do to have them working on one switch all so the orignal fog switch when pushed is very lose to the point it comes away from were its ment to stay i am going to have a good look at it tomorrow some time. Just to add i am not very mechanically minded so please bare with me but i will give anything ago if i can.

Might be a blown bulb in the rear light but surely this would not stop the front from working how its ment to it works when you turn it on your self but set it to work off the doors and does nothing at all.

will be one of the door switches for sure m8, got the same problem with my evo 4 turned out to the be the drivers side door switch took it off the car took it apart "yes they do come apart" but be very careful of the two clips on there i snapped one i cleaned the connectors up and it worked.... until the switch came apart lol oh well. either that u have a split in one of the wires from the door switches.

in my evo 4 it does not have rear door lights and not really looked inside the later models but i no it may sound stupid the switch to turn them on and off does it have a in-between bit so for eg, press it full left thats off press it full right thats on put the switch in the middle thats for the doors to turn it on? just a thought as my parents vectra is like that

Right had a good look at the door switches and cant find anything wrong what so ever they are very clean and all work when you push them in as the dash light goes out and comes back on when let go even when the doors have been open light comes on and goes off on every door. Both interior lights working when moved to the on position but set the switches to the middle to work off the doors and nothing i am at a loss.

fixed the front fog light switch it just came out from its clips simple push back in sorted but i want a dubble fog light switch as my rear one works off a diffrent switch with it been a import so were can i get one cheap enough there is one on cam skill but the price i think is over the top.
