Hello folks.
Am just new on the forum and I have just purchased my first evo.
I was originally after a evo 9 gt but this came up local and I knew it well.
I just had to have it. Love the yellow to
I have had mostly Hondas before this. Started off with a civic Jordan.
Once built up it looked like this
Then I got a jdm ep3 race base model.
Sold to me brother then I got a nhb dc5r. Which I just sold couple of days ago
Anyway now onto the evo. 2001 y evo7gsr import in dy.
Day I picked it up.
Back home in the garage for some detailing and tlc
Spec- will update this on page one.
Performance / engine -
Manual boost controller
Forge actuator red spring - 20psi
Scorpion 3 inch down pipe
Meerkat 3 inch exhaust including decat
Hel braided turbo oil return kit
Evo 9 baffled sump
Hks cone filter
Remap by russ at hq - 370/350
Suspension and brakes -
Evo 9 brembos
Evo 9 bill steins front
Apex 40mm springs
Ebc yellow front pads
Xp8 rear pads
Exterior -
Wheels dark gunmetal
Contisport tyres
Gunmetal vortex generator
Gunmetal gurney flap
Carbon front ducts
Carbon side spats
Interior-
Twin gauge pod on pillar
Boost and volt gauge
Carbon steering wheel cover
Think that's it. Also had it under sealed.
Just been remapped by russ at hq - made 370/350
Next plans are to change ayc fluid/diff gearbox etc.
get hel braided ayc lines.
Get headlights done black and de tango,d.
Keep it clean.
So onto the build
Had the fluids changed. Diff, transfer gearbox etc.
Also changed the plugs
Got the first part of my order from rexspeed so as normal got to fitting.
Vortex generator and gurney flap.
Quick pic.
Some more carbon.
Carbon spats and steering wheel centre fitted. No pics of spats as car is in garage.
Quick pic of headlights. Went for a full black mr look.
Cleaned with up after pic. Hopefully get them back on today with uprated bulbs.

Led sidelights and rear numberplate

So started off splitting the rear lights. Not fun total time was about 5 hours :/
Many cuts and stab wounds after done.
Quick rub down with 400 wet and dry, in primer and one in first coat of paint.
Then rebuild and clean lense. Reseal and finished.
Quick picture of headlights fitted.
From side on they look near enough all black.
