Basically on my Fiesta ST I had a full stainless system piper race manifold and down pipe, piper decat and magnex catbac with 4' inward rolled exit. Whilst it was a pain for MOTs I did enjoy the noise lol and kinda missing that growl lol

Iv been looking at cat bac exhausts for my evo and don't really know where to go lol I want a moderate rumble at idle and a deep and sporty sound through the rev range, so thought I'd ask you all what you have and recommend :)

Any comments would be appreciated :)

Cheers guys and girls

Miltek is up there with the best, I have one on mine true 3'

And it's one of the least restrictive exhausts with good power gains

I used to have a magnex full system, turbo back was very nice sound not to loud but had a great grumble on tick over

Think they are quite hard to find tho :(

Anything 3" with a 4" or bigger cut at the tail pipe will be loud and rumbly. Having the cat on you'll only get boomy sounds whilst driving. To get the most out of the engine, get a turbo back system. The front downpipe is incredibly restrictive.

I used to have a miltek on my VII. It's a true 3" unlike some others and has a nice sound too it without being mega loud.
As said, bin the cat and downpipe in favour of 3" items too. Then get it re-mapped and up the boost and you'll get even more noise when on full chat :)

I quite like the miltek always seems to get a good review from people, any chance you could do a video of it on idle and also givin it a little rev?

Cheers

I've got a full jap speed on mine, readily available and competitively priced. Sounds really good too.

Had one on my old Subaru too, compared to the nurspec it gave it a lovely deep burble that wasn't over the top. I thought the nur spec was awful, mind you it was an R one.

Full system with an easy bolt in cat section for mot time.
