And I was banging on about A/F gauges and widebands etc to you, Rob and stevey B at japshow mate

Would have been too late on full boost. Fuel pump wiring is a sore subject with me as i've seen some utterly disgraceful wiring on extremely powerful builds. I'm in 2 minds about moving my fuel pump, but i want it at the rear of the car, not in the engine bay for safety measures. The issue i have with this is that it turns the fuel piping that runs under the car from low pressure to high pressure :(

Thanks guys, yea she was going so well but even without enough fuel and running rather lean she still managed a 12.2 sec quarter mile lol :)

Hey at least it didn't lock up and demolish the engine on my way home :)

I'm thinking maybe an afr gauge but trouble is I don't like having gauges on the dash and I'm running out of cubby holes to hide things in.

Steve my 044 pump is just on the back of the rear floor pan and so far hasn't been an issue :)

I know what you mean about ugly guages cluttering the dash but even if your pump is working there are so many things that could still cause you to run lean so the only way to monitor your engine for sure is to have a wideband gauge.

another possible option would be to run a wideband into the ecu (ecuflash) so that it switches maps if your afrs go out of the set parameters.
not sure what roms that is available on though.

Yea well turns out I was lucky as no significant damage was caused.
As it's apart going to get new piston rings fitted and new bearings so be good for loads more miles to come :)
