Knocking from front passenger

HELP!!!

So my evo 8 had a knocking noise when I bought it I swapped out the suspension for some blistien coilovers, knocking disappeared for around 4 month but the last few weeks it has been coming back. I am thinking since I put the coilovers on something tighten up since its lower and has now become slack again.

All and any help would be great.

Are they new coilovers? I had a knock issue with new HSD's turns out the nut/bolt thingy attaching the damping rod to the bottom, don't assume they aren't at fault just because they are new. Is it coming from a particular side? If so swap the shock side to side and see if the knock goes with it. Failing that it go over everything with a pry back (all nuts bolts bushes etc) on the front end and check for excess play.

Yeah new coilovers I had the same noise with the old ones surely can't have the exact same problem/noise coming from the passenger side, the same side it was happening before I swapped out suspension.

Anything loose has similar noises that's why they are a pain in the arse to find! I'd say swap the shocks side to side then if the noise doesnt move you can at least eliminate them as the issue. Then like I say, poke around all the bushes and mounts etc with a pry bar anything with excess play is likely to cause a noise. You on standard top mounts?

Yeah standard top mounts although last owner replaced the side noise is from, I have new drop links to go on, gunna buy some new bushes if drop links don't solve it
