Keyed car

My girlfriends sisters car was keyed last night. Was wondering if anybody on hear would know what sort of price she will be looking at to have it re-painted. It's a white vauxhall corsa rear door.

If its just one panel shouldnt be a huge amount. Couple of hundred max. Recent experience of a friend driving her car into a gate post and scratching the 3/4 panel. That cost just under £200.

It is a bit of a 'how long is a bit of string' but I normally work on 100 to 150 per panel. Youd be surprised how much of a pain key scratches can be.

Thanks for the replies boys. She only had the car 3 weeks. It does not stand out to much with it being a white car. But think she should still get it fixed.

Cheaper to find a door the same colour and just bolt it on probably £60 and a little time

I thought the same but the car is only 3weeks old out the show room might be hard to find a door so new. Will give it a try. Don't won't her going to a body shop and she gets ripped off with being female or a shit paint job.

Thought it was an older one so probably cheaper to have it painted

Well I just had a quote to have a crease dent removed from my rear door on the evo from a bread trolley and that's to the tune of £300 and that's to have dent removed, prepped painted and blowin into front door and rear wing

well, really depends on how deep. it might not need to be repainted or anything.

Deep, it's a crease in the middle of the door, paint will be damaged working it out, have been told this by 3 seperate body shops and reinforces my suspicion anyways,
